About Anna Marie Binder
Anna Marie Binder is endorsed by the above organizations.
Anna Binder is a long time resident of Henderson, a wife, and mother to six children that are proud products of our public education system. 3 of her children have special abilities and she has navigated this over the past 20 years for them. From that passion, Anna has spent the past 5 years stepping up this advocacy for the children and families not only in Clark County, but the entire State of Nevada.
Anna volunteers her time mentoring youth with the County Truancy Program and as a Court Appointed Special Advocate to be children’s voices during their times of need navigating life while they are experiencing foster care.
She is the only parent that dedicated time last year to advocating for the historic raises our educators and support professionals received.
Anna is one of two District A attendance Zone Committee members for the Clark County School District as well as a Board Appointed member of the Audit Advisory committee and served in these capacities for 3 years for the community.
With her passion for making education better for all, Anna has been a pillar in organizing the community on issues like schools reopening, reinstating sports and activities, school safety, and remained committed to the resignation of the prior superintendent.
Her work through the years has earned her voice at the table on behavioral mental health, Autism, and developmental disabilities. She is also the Vice Chair of the Special Education Committee for the Nevada Department of Education.
She has been the most readily accessible advocate our community has seen for teachers, staff, and parents with the focus on not just improving her children’s experience, but all of our children.
With demonstrated leadership results, Anna is seeking to be your next Trustee to earn true community minded people a permanent vote in public education these next 4 years.
